  • Description

    The first US Army flight jacket was the A-1, introduced in 1927. The knitted collar, and ribbed cuff and waist were designed to keep the wind from the pilots. This particular flight jacket model is known for it's front button closure and two waist flap pockets. Samurai has updated the A-1 by using a slubby 17oz denim for the body, and a wool blend for the ribbing.
