Heimat Textil was founded in 2016 by Christian Hofmann, a Ralph Lauren veteran. While the word Heimat has no direct English translation, it can best be thought as the place you feel most comfortable or a thought that brings you calm.
The brand focuses on producing the finest knitwear in Germany, creating clean traditional clothing with modern day functionality. The core of Heimat Textil’s lineup is based on heritage clothing that have provided comfort and warmth for over a century for the likes of sailors and solders, mountaineers and adventurers.
