Due to the current COVID-19 health crisis we are taking extra precautions to offer repair and alteration services. We require that all garments be washed and unworn before they are shipped to us - NO EXCEPTIONS. Our workspace is sterile and all garments will be handled with gloves and our repair staff will be masked. We reserve the right to refuse to work on any garment we determine to be soiled or unclean which will be returned to the customer minus the $10 shipping and handling fee.

Worn a hole in your favorite jeans? We can fix that! We use a darning machine and to reweave the fabric with color matching thread, and then reconstruct the garment with our small fleet of new and vintage machines to get your jeans looking good as new.

The Process

  • Darning services start at $20, and increase depending the scope of the work required.
  • The $20 check out fee is a refundable deposit but please keep in mind the cost of the repair may be higher.
  • Once the garment is received you will be contacted with a quote before services are rendered.
  • Alternatively, if you would like a more accurate estimate of the cost of work, please contact and send photos of the work required to repairs@franklinandpoe.com. This estimate is non-binding, and a formal quote will be given once our repair staff sees the job in person.
  • If the quote is denied, we will ship your garments back to you and refund your $20 deposit. The shipping and handling fee of $10 is non-refundable.


  • World-wide shipping via (USPS/UPS/FedEx/DHL). You will receive a tracking number via email.
  • Low flat rate shipping. Free shipping over $250 on domestic orders. Please see "Shipping, Returns, and Exchanges" under our "INFO" tab on any page for up-to-date shipping rates.
  • Most packages are shipped via USPS or UPS in the lower 48.
  • Orders shipped to an APO/DPO address are shipped via USPS.
  • International orders are shipped primarily through DHL or UPS. Please be aware that the customer is responsible for any local customs or duties placed on the package upon arrival. As we ship worldwide, we have no knowledge of country specific import taxes, so please refer to guidance from your local government.


  • We accept returns for full refunds within seven (7) days of the order delivery date.
  • Store credit for returns will be issued within fourteen (14) days of the order delivery.
  • All Items for return or exchanges must be postmarked within the seven (7) day period after authorization.


  • We carry limited quantities of many items. To ensure an exchange can be fulfilled, contact us at info@franklinandpoe.com.

  • Franklin and Poe is not responsible for shipping costs on exchanges or returns.
  • We only accept items for return or exchange if they are in new condition with original tags, unworn and unaltered.
  • All merchandise purchased on sale, grooming products, underwear, and consignment are final.
