    The Extra Heavy Flannel definitely lives up to its name, coming in at a beefy 15.5oz, an ounce heavier than their normal heavy flannels. The fabric is woven on power looms, to create intricate color combinations. There are very few powerlooms in Japan capable of weaving such heavy fabric, making these shirts a bit of a rarity. The fabric has a touch of texture and is slightly brushed for a comfortable feel. While these shirts are substantial, they conform to the body comfortably. The dye on the fabric will fade with time and wear, leading to that sought-after vintage flannel look.
