    A 2025 reissue of the first Mister Freedom x Sugar Cane collaboration, the 7161 Utility Trousers are a truly insane pair of pants that epitomizes Mr. Loiron's psychedelic approach to historical pastiche. First released in 2006, the design for the 7161s comes from an imaginary sailor, globetrotting around in the 1930s. These trousers are a conceptualization of what someone like this might have worn, collecting scraps of fabric on his travels and creating make-do, utilitarian garments. The 7161s are cut from a zany mix of Sugar Cane's Okinawa and Hawaii denims, and feature wraparound pockets, a cargo pocket, cinch-back, and a plethora of little hidden bonus details!
