This chore coat pulls from a 1930s Duck Head original, brought to life through a mix of close study and a bit of luck finding the right reference piece. From the custom animal-inspired branding and varied button hardware to the green bar tacks that fade with wear, the details stay rooted in vintage workwear but feel considered, not overdone. Construction follows suit, with a rare chain-stitched neckband recreated using specialized machinery to match the original build. The fabric is just as dialed, made from a mix of yarns and rope-dyed for depth. Unsanforized and one-washed, this unprocessed denim is full of character and wears in naturally over time, picking up character the more it’s used.
