    Combining a lighter weight heritage fabric with the brand's vintage styled mechanic shirt, the IHSH-445-IND is a sturdy spring shirting option. This shirt is cut from an indigo/black dobby cloth, a highly textured fabric from the mid 19th century. Dobby cloth is achieved by manipulating a fabric's yarns with a loom attached device called a dobby that allows for textural, dimensional weaves.

    Unlike Iron Heart's all-indigo dobby cloths, this fabric is woven with an indigo rope-dyed warp yarn and a black sulphur-dyed weft. Since the fabric’s three-dimensional surface exposes more edges than a twill or plain weave, you can expect high-contrast electric blue fading that highlights the intricate geometric texture.

    The fit of the mechanic's shirt is retro and easygoing, with a comfortable amount of room in the chest. All of the furnishing's of the brand's mechanic shirts are there including snap closures, a straight hem, and side seam gussets.
