  • Description

    The Ren Cardigan is a show-stopping piece this season, and demonstrates the intricate craftsmanship from Indi + Ash. These sweaters are inspired by antique Japanese saki-oro Hanten, which are old farmers coats made from repurposed and rewoven textiles. The yarns consist degraded alpaca yarns: top area from black alpaca, middle is dark charcoal alpaca, and bottom from charcoal alpaca, which are run concurrently with the same plant based dark indigo-dyed cotton. In the back the panels are linked together with a hand embroidered blanket stitch. Finally, the Ren is finished with three real horn buttons.
