  • Description

    Jaw dropping is an understatement—the Richmond from the artisans at Fine Creek Leathers is one of the coolest jackets we've ever carried. The Richmond is based on a vintage Type I denim jacket, crafted from a 1.5mm vegetable tanned horsehide with an aniline finish by the renowned Shinki Tannery in Japan. The teacore leather starts off black and will develop a rich brown patina with use, and, as with all Shinki leather, breaks in quickly and will age beautifully. The interior is a smooth cotton lining, and the exterior stitching is tonal black. The Richmond is constructed in the same way as its denim counterpart with the pleated front, single chest pocket, flat felled T-back panelling, and buckle-back.

    The Type I silhouette is a perfect base to show off the fabulous Shinki leather: elegantly minimal with beautiful, refined detailing. The Richmond is the leather jacket for those looking for a stylish, modern alternative to a traditional riders style jacket.
