Velva Sheen

My first introduction to Velva Sheen was back in 1996 when I enlisted in the Army. Pulling them out of my oversized duffle bag, and ripping open the two pack of t-shirts in that special brown color that every U.S. soldier will recognize. 20 years later I still have those t-shirts, every moment absorbed, cotton faded and worn, some with holes, some without, yet every single shirt still fits the same as it did when I first put it on. It’s often said, “They just don’t make it like they used to.” Velva Sheen still does.
