  • Description

    The L-2B was introduced in the early 1950s as a lighter alternative to the MA-1, built for better movement and comfort in the cockpit. Stripped of excess bulk and insulation, it became a cleaner, more versatile flight jacket, and before long, found its way into everyday wear beyond the military.

    This version from Iron Heart takes that original design and builds it out with their usual over-engineered approach. The shell is a 4.8oz anti-static nylon that feels smooth but holds up to wear, paired with a lightweight nylon taffeta lining for easy layering. It’s naturally water resistant, then treated with a non-fluorine-based coating for added protection without compromising the fabric.
