Description
Rugged, warm, and windproof, Iron Heart's heavyweight flannel shirts are a staple of every fall/winter collection. This season, they've introduced the new “Rider’s” cut, designed with heavy-duty hardware and a roomier, boxy fit for heavy layering. Built for the open road, features include a two-way zipper beneath a snap-fastened over-placket for enhanced wind resistance, large secure chest pockets, and heavy-duty copper snaps throughout—offering motorcyclists the warmth and comfort of a flannel, with the functionality of a jacket.
In Iron Heart's efforts to explore more sustainable alternatives to the Aspero cotton used for our traditional ultra heavy flannel (UHF) shirts, this model is cut from a new 10oz Japanese heavyweight flannel. Softer and slightly lighter than its Aspero counterparts, Iron Heart has heavily brushed the reverse of the fabric to increase thickness and improve heat retention. While the 10oz weave means it's not a UHF shirt, weight isn’t everything; this fabric still delivers the warmth, comfort and rugged characteristics that Iron Heart's heavyweight winter flannels are renowned for.
