    With no detail overlooked, these jeans epitomize the spirit of Japanese denim manufacturing and its rich history. The godfathers of Japanese denim have worked with Kyoshi Sakamoto of Sakamoto Denim, a storied company in its own right with a long history of textile dyeing, to dye the fabric exclusively with pure indigo. The denim, referred to by Sakamoto as "the ultimate blue", reveals stunning sandy fades with a true vintage feel after good wear. 

    Cut from a sturdy 15.5oz selvedge denim, these jeans feature single needle construction, a meticulous process that requires more than double the labor than a standard pair of jeans. The process harks back to the early days of denim production, before modern advancements streamlined the manufacturing process. The rivets and buttons are reinforced with leather rings to prevent failure and to prolong the life of the fabric. The R008 is a true straight cut.
