The Merz b. Schwanen 215 Classic Crew Neck T-shirt is next level. It's the equivalent of a German-engineered car. Merz houses the only loopwheel factory in Europe and is one of only two loopwheel factories left in the world (the second one is in Japan). Knitting at a snail's pace of about 1m of fabric per 90 minutes, this is old school, slow school manufacturing at its best. The result is a t-shirt with clean, simple lines underpinned by a superior quality that is unmatched. At a distance this might seem like any other t-shirt. And then you get up close, put your hands on it. The fabric is airy and dense, the cotton as soft as can be. It's as if you can feel the quality woven into the t-shirt as you hold it. Like the fine folks at Merz say, this t-shirt embodies "well-crafted simplicity".

Care

Wear often. Wash less often in cold water. After wash twist the t-shirt and pull from both ends. Then shake it out to return the t-shirt to its original shape and lay flat to dry. Alternatively, you can dry on very low heat as the t-shirt is cut to account for shrinkage in length.

Fit & Measurement

Fit

This garment will shrink after the first wash. We recommend sizing up one size from your normal t-shirt size to account for this shrinking.
You can expect 1-1.5” of shrinking in length. Garment is cut with extra length to account for shrinkage.

Shipping

World-wide shipping via (USPS/UPS/FedEx/DHL). You will receive a tracking number via email.
Low flat rate shipping. Free shipping over $250 on domestic orders. Please see "Shipping, Returns, and Exchanges" under our "INFO" tab on any page for up-to-date shipping rates.
Most packages are shipped via USPS or UPS in the lower 48.
Orders shipped to an APO/DPO address are shipped via USPS.
International orders are shipped primarily through DHL or UPS. Please be aware that the customer is responsible for any local customs or duties placed on the package upon arrival. As we ship worldwide, we have no knowledge of country specific import taxes, so please refer to guidance from your local government.

Returns

We accept returns for full refunds within seven (7) days of the order delivery date.
Store credit for returns will be issued within fourteen (14) days of the order delivery.
All Items for return or exchanges must be postmarked within the seven (7) day period after authorization.
