Left Field NYC x Red Wing Heritage Trunk Show, May 6th 12-7pm
Philadelphia’s own Christian McCann is an OG in the American-made workwear game. Hailing from the Northeast, Christian got his start in the mid-90s as a buyer for Anthropology when they had a men’s department at 18th and Walnut. He left and moved to New York to start his own brand, Left Field NYC in the late 90s.
Left Field is a regular Rocky story, starting from nothing to establishing a well known brand, to almost losing it all during the recession. Christian has worked his way back to being one of the most interesting, preeminent American menswear brands with a true East Coast feel. Left Field’s aesthetic draws heavily on raw selvedge denim, Americana workwear, motorcycles, Pennsylvanian coal mining culture, and 1950s era vintage. Everything is designed in New York by Christian, and manufactured throughout the United States.
Franklin & Poe is excited to welcome Christian back to his hometown with a pop-up trunk show. We have also invited another classic American Brand, Red Wing Heritage, who will be showing their entire line of men’s and women’s boots and shoes. Come by Franklin & Poe in Fishtown on May 6th for some of the best American made jeans, clothes, and footwear. We’ll also have beer and bourbon on hand all day!
